Why FC 26 Season 2 Pass Might Not Be Worth Your Coins

Season 2 Pass feels like it’s designed more for collectors than competitors.

If you’re thinking about buying the new FC 26 Season 2 Pass, you’ll want to think carefully before spending 500,000 coins or 1,000 FC Points. Even if you’ve stocked up on cheap FC 26 coins, the real question is whether this pass delivers enough rewards to justify its price. After going through every tier and reward, many players are left wondering if the Season Pass has lost touch with what the community really wants.

The first few rewards sound promising — a 10x75 pack, anchor perks, and some career mode boosts. But as soon as you see the number of loan items and Pro Clubs cosmetics, the excitement fades fast. These don’t add much value to Ultimate Team players who are grinding hard for top-tier cards. The first meaningful card, Ajo, is decent but quickly overshadowed by cheaper, better SBC options available in the market.

Things don’t improve much as you level up. The second free player, Vazquez, is slow and limited, and while the paid version offers slightly better stats, it still doesn’t compete with the current meta. The third paid player, Carlo Agusto, has good all-around stats but underwhelming playstyles. The issue is timing — by the time you unlock him, better cards will already be circulating through SBCs and promo events.

Even higher up the ladder, Fabinho, Marta, and Rodrigo offer some excitement, but they come far too late in the progression path to make the grind feel worthwhile. Fabinho’s lack of skill upgrades limits his usefulness, and while Marta is fun to play with, she’s not going to carry your squad at this stage in the game. Rodrigo, the final paid player, is flashy but not game-breaking — especially when you can find comparable cards on the market for less.

In summary, the Season 2 Pass feels like it’s designed more for collectors than competitors. Unless you love collecting themed cards or completing every available challenge, the value just isn’t there. Instead of spending your FC Points or 500,000 coins, you could use your cheap FC 26 coins to pick up powerful SBC players or invest in evolutions that offer lasting value. The Season Pass might look good on paper, but in practice, it’s a hard sell for most players.
